This lovely home – set in a quiet part of Claremont, Cape Town – was a breeze to shoot; we must have finished within half an hour. With the furniture all moved out, and the owner hoping to rent it out, this was a simple matter of showing the property’s best attributes off. In good shape, and having some nice features, this was easy to do, and surely helped the owners advertise their home online easily too. I think it was quite a useful idea to photograph a home in between tenants new and old, as styling a home takes more time than photographing it!
