Real Estate Photography for Southern Africa

We specialise in real estate photography and although we are based in Cape Town and Johannesburg, we service all of Southern Africa, including our exquisite tropical islands!  Take a look through some of our favourite shoots and then get in touch if you would like us to photograph your property. We are convinced that we can meet your standards and help market your property to the world!

Luxury Home | Constantia, Cape Town

This gorgeous home needed photographs that would help it rent out in summer, both to holidaymakers and for film sets. It was unique in that we returned multiple times to capture various views of the home, something that later turned out to be a great idea.

Boutique Lodge | The Crags

An exquisite boutique hotel situated in The Crags – just outside of Plettenberg Bay – Tamodi Lodge is a stunning and secret gem with breathtaking views. Shot in pouring rain, the forests seem greener, and the light much softer. Added to that, the staff were so lovely to work with.

Penthouse Suite | Cape Town

Another Waterfront apartment for rental, another likely foreigner who will stay here ad infinitum. This gorgeous flat was a breeze to shoot and no doubt the photos will bring in customers for the whole year. The Waterfront is definitely proving to be an icon of Africa.

La Bella Wine Estate | Paarl

La Bella is a glorious piece of real estate, hidden away from the busyness of nearby Cape Town and Stellenbosch. Here you can relax in ultimate luxury, pretending the world’s problems don’t exist. We shot on a lovely day in May, with soft light from low clouds.

Safari Lodge | Sabi Sands

A breathtaking hotel in the Sabi Sands, this slice of real estate is as good as it gets. Take a look at this collection of some of the best images to get a better idea of the grandeur of this safari lodge. Out of interest, this has been the best project photographed to date.

Modern Apartment | Cape Town

One of those apartments you walk into and your expectations are wildly exceeded, this small apartment in Salt River had exquisite decor and is an artists dream. Every last little thing was thought of and for the modern folk among us: you’d be very happy here!

Safari Lodge | Northern Kruger

An exquisite safari lodge on a private game reserve bordering Timbavati – and connected to Kruger Park – this lodge was a dream to visit and stay in. Epic lounges, a swimming pool that has elephants visit it daily, and “Big Five” aplenty.

Holiday Home | Langebaan

An AirBnb hopeful, this gorgeous home had an immaculate interior perfect for those foreigners – and others hailing from further north than Cape Town (like Joburg) – hoping to come and live the high life by the coast for a month or more. Simple and down to earth, this was a quick shoot.

Apartment | V&A, Cape Town

Right beside the Cape Grace, this wonderful apartment at the V&A sits with a great view of Cape Town’s harbour. After capturing the lovely interior it made sense to show potential Airbnb customers the wonderful view they’d be privileged enough to experience.

Apartment | Observatory, Cape Town

Styled to perfection, liveable, clean, sophisticated – all in all, a modern dream for the new home buyer as it comes fully furnished. A turnkey solution from Rawson – buy it and live in it the next day – super appealing, I’d say!

Simon’s Town | Cape Town

One of Cape Town’s most desirable suburbs must surely be Simon’s Town. Away from the hubbub of the city this old-school town has a charm and personality of its own. This home was in keeping with that, with beautiful artwork, furniture, and plenty of bedrooms.

Pin Oaks | Craighall, Joburg

A hideaway from the bustling city of Joburg, this Bnb has a charm to it that helps you relax and feel like you’re at home with your folks. Casual, relaxing, homely… yet neat and tidy and professional too. A treat to shoot, and a lovely owner as well.

We would love to showcase all the images we have ever taken but that will take far too long! So we hoped the above is enough for you and if it wasn’t then you can browse through over a hundred blog entries detailing our lengthy travelogue across the country and beyond. Asia, Europe, Africa, the Americas… we have done it all. Last places to visit for photography include: Antarctica, South America, & Iceland!

the long read

Take a break from all the images and read about some other shoots we’ve done

Mountain Lodge | Klein Karoo

Would you believe that in under an hour’s drive north from Port Elizabeth you could be at the gate of a farm in the Karoo? Well, you can and, better than that, you can stay at this mountain lodge. We spent a day up here taking photos of two of the accommodation options.

Guest House | Port Elizabeth

Pebbles is a fantastic B&B in the idyllic Schoenmakerskop area of Port Elizabeth. Much like Hermanus, Scarborough, or Franschhoek this seaside suburb tricks you into thinking you are well away from the city. You would be forgiven for thinking you’re not.

Bryanston Home | Johannesburg

An exquisite boutique hotel situated in The Crags – just outside of Plettenberg Bay – Tamodi Lodge is a stunning and secret gem with breathtaking views. Shot in pouring rain, the forests seem greener, and the light much softer. Added to that, the staff were so lovely to work with.

Guest Lodge | Nelspruit

This wonderful guest lodge in Nelspruit was a fun, quick project on the way into the Sabi Sands and Kruger Park. It was interesting seeing what could be done in under an hour of fading light, but what provided even more pressure was the enticing smells of dinner!

Eden’s Touch | Knysna

Eden’s Touch is a small farm encompassing seven or so log cabins for city dwellers to escape to the “countryside”. When you’re there you wouldn’t believe the N2 is a mere five minutes away! We spent an hour here doing one of the more relaxing shoots to date.

Brookes Hill | Port Elizabeth

Right on the beachfront in downtown Port Elizabeth, this holidaymakers dream lies, waiting for you to sit on their grass and soak in their unhindered view The client was super hospitable, easy to work with, and his team really helped style the rooms to perfection.

Long Street | Cape Town CBD

This apartment in Cape Town’s CBD had one of the best (or close to) views I had experienced in Cape Town. Beauty in all directions and such a treat to watch the whole story of the life of the sea. Of course, the home was stunning, as per usual with such lovely apartments.

Paradyskloof | Stellenbosch

A large, well-maintained home this family abode was the scene for our first shoot out that way. The owners were looking to sell and emigrate to Germany and spent an awful lot of money on flowers and other things to make the home look great on the day.

Lemoenfontein | Karoo

On an epic road trip from Joburg, via Kimberley, and through the Central Karoo this was one of the many stops on the way. A real escape from the city life, yet just outside Beaufort West, it has the benefit of seclusion but with the N1 in the far distance. Certainly must return here again one day!
